Summary
This is what he’d been waiting for, this is why he’d suffered centuries in an odd sort of stasis. He’d seen the rise and fall of empire after empire, felt spikes in magic and heard whispers of legend that were so close to the real thing he’d nearly deluded himself into believing it time and time again, but nothing had felt quite like this. After an entire millennium of waiting, the King had returned.
Or: Harry Potter is the fated Future King of Camelot and Merlin isn't about to let him grow up in Surrey with no knowledge of magic. What results is a Harry who's much better trained and much more well equipped to dive headfirst into chaos and a Merlin who remembers what it's like to care.
