    The muses sent Harmony to Encanto to protect her from Lydia, entrusting her and Melody with the key to the Diamond Castle and separating them for their protection.
    But, when the muses were turned to stone, Harmony knew she couldn’t go back.
    So, she adapts to her new life as Esperanza, a refugee in Encanto with no family nor a penny to her name. She befriends Mirabel Madrigal and confides in Dolores, who promises to keep her secret and protect her from Isabela’s slander and jealousy. The children adore her and beg for her music.
    But she can’t hide her past, nor can she run from it.

    Mirabel can’t think of a better sister figure than Esperanza, and despite the social pressures from the villagers and the family, nothing can keep her from her. Mirabel finds solace in her songs and music, coming to her when her cousins can’t help her, and she protects her from her bullies.
    However, when she catches the eye of Lydia, she faces the truth about Esperanza’s real past while accidentally getting Isabela and Dolores involved.
    They might need more than a second miracle to escape this intact.
