Summary
Nick’s team is next.
The crowd cheers as the footballers throw the ball into the crowd before one of them starts reaching up to receive it. There’s a bout of laughter when whoever caught it in the crowd throws it too far and someone on the other side of the parade catches it. The footballer sends a playful glare that makes Charlie snigger and runs off to receive it from the other person. By the time the footballer gets his ball back, Charlie sees the too-familiar logo of Nick’s team and his smile threatens to split his face in half.

Charlie and Olly Spring are fraternal twins that grow up in the suburbs of Colorado, recent graduates of a private Catholic school. Oliver is a swimmer, confident and ready to take on university; his brother on the other hand is still reeling from bullying and is not quite so ready. Naturally, this means they both end up as Buffalos, rooming together freshman year at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Who Olly sees first, just to set the record straight.
There are less self-assured layers beneath Oliver though, under the confident veneer, and strength in his brother he doesn't know exists.

David has surprised Olly with a trip to Buckland Farm Log Cabins in Taunton, Somerset. Far enough away from London that they can enjoy each other without being disturbed and basic enough that Olly can accept the gift of a few days in a cabin - let’s face it, David will be using the Wi-Fi to catch up on work anyway. After a long drive and a trip to the aptly named Otterhead Lakes, David and Olly return to Taunton to pick up some supplies for dinner.
