Death. As someone who hates death Kim Rok Soo has vowed to never enter a fight he cannot win. In a moment of desperation however Kim Rok Soo finds himself standing face to face with it, disguised as a rank 1 monster with sharp claws.
When he comes to it he’s not in any shelter with his team around him, instead he’s on a wooden floor in a luxurious looking room. Surrounded by glass shards and empty bottles of wine he couldn’t help but question where he was, but was unable to do so as he fell into the arms of an older man with a failing benign smile.

Two gay men in Victorian time. Victor is an artist/painter who is slowly dying of a chronic illness. He is madly in love with Ambrose, a 1000 year old vampire who has been searching for the purpose of his continued existence. In Victors last moment he meets up with Ambrose in the church a bit out of town for a dance neither want to end. It doesn’t matter they don’t have music. The townsfolk are on their way to kill Ambrose cause they believe he will try to turn Victor into a vampire too.

Scar seemed to tense at the echo of his wish. His face shifted as wonderful splotches of color heated his cheeks. Those green eyes looked askance, nervous laughter filling the air around them. “Yeah, uh, y’know. I’ve never really tried out that holiday tradition. Would be nice to check it off my bucket list.”
“Oh,” Grian said, willing his voice not to break. “Have you… got someone particular in mind?”
Scar just huffed out a little laugh and sent an unreadable glance Grian’s way. "I think I’ll just go for whoever’s nearby when midnight strikes.”
