Summary
Even the strongest of men break and crumble. Bruce has cracked and faltered many times, all because of his children. His children who he loves so dearly, who seem to be the single reason for his gray hairs and the stubborn wrinkles budding on his face that he refuses to fix just yet (he’s still a young-ish man after all); his children who are all so brave and so strong despite everything life has thrown at them; his children who he’ll never quite understand. Yes, he’s cracked and faltered for his children, his family, but never has he broken down.
That is, until he had to bury an empty coffin in place of his son.
OR:
Jason Todd was captured and tortured by the Joker for months, before he was finally killed and it completely tore everyone apart. Bruce and the rest of the batfamily would very much like to grieve his loss, but it seems that rumours of Jason's death were greatly exaggerated.OR OR:
Arkham Knight canon divergence where Jason gets rescued and goes through the recovery arc he and the family deserved :D -

Summary
Bruce Wayne is dead. Publicly, he died tragically in a horrible accident across the globe at a relief camp doing some type of charity work or another. Horrible stuff. Tragic, really. Poor Brucie, died trying to help out just like he always did. In reality, Batman died in what would end up being his final mission in his useless war on crime. He died alone in a warehouse explosion miles away from his family and friends because he decided that he had to do it alone.
OR
Bruce Wayne's funeral from Jason's POV. He has a hard time coping with death.

Summary
Dazai didn't like pain. Most people aren't really a fan of pain, but there's a difference between a general dislike of pain and the bone chilling, gut wrenching, terrifying, awe inspiring hatred of pain that Dazai held.
Or: Dazai tries to rationalize why it's okay to hurt himself and Chuuya disagrees
