Subaru replaces Yuji Itadori in the main story of Jujutsu Kaisen, you will need to know the story of JJK towards its end to understand the first chapter's premise:
Subaru is strong, tenacious, even. He was due to be executed after eating the special grade cursed object, Sukuna's finger. But he felt he had his own curse even before that. Return By Death. He used it, suffering over and over again from an unseen force that nearly drowned him with its envy. And after dying so many times, he was able to get an ending. But he still isnt satisfied, not with how be can't move on. Beneath his cheer hides a cog in a machine of war. Who became a special grade sorcerer, mastering the technique 'Shrine' and 'Blood Manipulation.'
So he is brought to another world. To be taught love, to learn how to share his burdens so that he isn't alone. But will he be able to learn to let others in? Or will he needlessly hurt himself under the guise of 'helping others?'

Summary
The world of Re:Zero and Earth have somewhat created a connection. As to how it was made is still unknown and the method of traversal is also unknown. Earth, due to a bridge with the world of Re:Zero, Mabeast and other things have appeared in Earth where people now see monsters attacks as the norm. The government is also investigating and studying this phenomenon. They found out that a tear will appear in space and then mabeast emerges. Sometimes, it's dragons, spirits, and on very rare occasions, people from the world of Re:Zero. And due to the bridge, Earth now has magic.
Then a dragon arrives at Earth. But instead of destruction, the dragon chooses to negotiate and communicate first. This dragon then changes it's name to Natsuki Kenichi and married a woman named Naoko. Kenichi decided to help the government to fight against threats while Naoko studied various phenomenon that Kenichi mentioned. As the year passed on, Naoko gave birth to Subaru, who is now half-human half-dragon.
Subaru managed to grow up into a healthy teenager under the employment of the Government to combat against various threats. But while he was finding a large and powerful Mabeast, a tear appeared and shadow hands dragged him into it.

Summary
What if the cast after arc 9 reacts to the last failed loop? With Subaru?? My mean-eyed goat is cooked!
Though I don’t believe it’d make sense in the main story, I love WHDAA, to the point of making a react fic on Arc 9 haha.
