Usually he’d stick close to Suguru, glue himself to his side to ensure the other took the brunt of it, but sadly the man was still nowhere in sight.
Rationally, Satoru knew it would be okay. Suguru disappeared all the time, and his grandparents were getting on in years, and Suguru didn’t need to tell Satoru his every whereabout.
