(In Louis hotel suite)
Lestat took his hands, both of Louis hands between his own. Wide hands, their use necessary for holding hunting tools, weapons to tame his rural mortal existence; essential survival use. Years before he touched a piano. Years, no, more than one century, before they had touched him. They encompassed his own; talented, long fingers both loosening and tightening in an uncoordinated way. His lips compressed, and his eyes roving his face, fixed on his mouth and back to his eyes, his hairline and again, unmoored. Almost a century ago it would have been bold, uncompromisingly sexual. Now, it was yearning; a clearer more raw message he could not have spoken. His red rimmed eyes shifted off of Louis and he stood, urging the same movement from Louis through their linked hands.
(They talk. They agree on things. They communicate.)

He can feel him before he sees him, like a thumb pressed to the inside of his skull, the soft scrape of a familiar mind against his. One life, Jasper thinks, and look at the mess we’ve made of it.
Neither of them move. Jasper has the ridiculous thought to pinch himself, see if he’s not transparent, as if he’s a projection illuminated only by want. Guy is thinner than he remembers. His hair is shorter (curious, that), shadows under his eyes darker than they used to be. He looks sharper. He’s focused, more precise, whittled after the year-or-so that he’s probably been on the run. Jasper is aware of the exact distance between them, the corridor of it; the want is suddenly almost audible, a roar in his ears, a string stretched between them.

Jasper's free, Guy is God-knows where. They should probably never speak again, but they do.

There were times when nothing seemed to be enough for Lestat, all the touches, the sweat, the blood, the tears, Lestat wanted more, he always wanted everything and more, and Louis was always the reason for all his deepest obsessions.

Summary
You've been with Gabrielle, your Maker, for almost forty years, and you understand that sometimes she likes a few months to travel alone. Your agreement is that she will always find you another coven of vampires to stay with, so that she isn't leaving you to loneliness. The year is 2022, and Gabrielle feels the call of solitude: you've only met Louis and Armand once in the 90s, but they agree to keep an eye on you while Gabrielle is away. Surely this visit will have no consequences.
(A reader-insert fic, featuring a lot of complicated relationships and an eventual coven/polycule from Hell. Part One starts before Season One and covers the TV show events with a few divergences, and Part Two diverges completely into events from the books)
