This was inspired by the theme words of "Mistletoe and Myth" - hilariously we didn't get to either in part one (sorry) and a drawing of Eddie loosing his mind over Steve dressed as an elf. The brain rot grew from there. If I can find the sketch I will come back and link it with artist permission. Anyway...
Post Season 4, but Eddie is alive (up the duff you wanker brothers!) and has been living with Steve and his unrequited feelings ever since April. It's Thanksgiving and things are about to take a turn for Eddie, spurred on by Steve's revelation.

“Shut up,” Eddie snaps. He softens when he catches the smell of Steve, fresh and clean like he just took a shower. Maybe he did. “Should I just, y’know…?”
He makes a gesture with his fingers, emulating fangs. Steve chokes back a laugh.
“Christ, you’re a dork. Yeah, just bite me. Not too hard, though. The last thing I need is more scars.”
Eddie hesitates for a moment longer. Steve is tilting his head to the side, looking off to his right, and Eddie’s eyes linger on the two moles on the side of his neck. It looks like he’s already been bitten. He can hear the steady pulse of Steve’s heart in his chest; he can taste the salt on his skin just by breathing this close to him. His mouth waters.
“Get on with it,” Steve says, his voice uncharacteristically rough.
Or: An undead Eddie learns about the consequences of not eating for too long, and Steve learns a few things about himself in the process of helping him out.

Steve hesitates a second before sliding closer to Eddie and putting his head on his chest. Eddie’s arms go around Steve immediately.
“You’re safe here,” Eddie tells him softly.
And as Steve’s eyelids get heavy, he thinks he may just believe him.
