Alec is up next for elimination, most likely.
He doesn't want to lose. Fiore doesn't want to lose him, though she doesn't want to admit it. He also wants her to be okay.

Alec looks up and sees that she’s crying too. Her eyes are full and wet, her face flushed and red. Tears drip down, washing away the mud in its path, as her lip quivers.
He doesn’t think he’s ever seen her cry like this. He’s seen a few tears slip free before, usually when she’s really frustrated, but it’s for only a second before they’re gone.
But right now she’s actually fully crying. Fully face-scrunched and crying.
“Do you really want to get away from me that bad?” Fiore says, ending on a choked breath.
Alec’s world freezes.
All he can focus on is her. He stares at her as the rain beats down around them, trying to process what she’s said.
“I… what?”

Summary
Alternate universe timeline! Everything is the same except Alec and Fiore didn’t make up and Alec and Conner get married. It takes place when Fiore is 16 and living in a group home in the UK. She deals with trauma from her upbringing and a lot of self hatred as a result. At school, she completely neglects her assignments and works on things she actually enjoys, like reading about ancient greek men. The story begins at the start of Fiore’s junior year of high school, where she unexpectedly has Alec as her history teacher. She gets stressed out because of this, as she (and her therapist she reluctantly agreed to work with) have just started unsorting her issues about her time on Disventure Camp.

“No!” Fiore barks back with a shake of her head and a burning glare. She won’t be having any of it. “No.”

Boarding school, physical and emotional abuse, the crash from season 1, and being bullied by literal adults. Looking back at her memories, she starts to realize who her actual parent was.
