Sirius blinks at him, mouth open like he’s about to say something, but then closes it at the last minute. Shit. Remus definitely looks rough. He’s been at work for at least six hours already. He resists the strange urge to fix his scrubs and his hair.
“Sirius, I assume?” He says, words miraculously finding him.
Sirius nods, “That’s me. And you’re…Remus?”
Remus nods and gives the man a shy smile. God, pretty people made him so self-aware.
“This way,” he says, before turning around and leading Sirius in through the main door to the ward.

Basically, Remus works in an aged care home as a Nurse for Walburga, and when she struggles to transition to life at the facility, Remus contacts her family to maybe help her feel more at home in a new setting. However, when he meets her son all his logical thoughts fly out the window.

Regulus and Sirius are the new kids in school. James is curious and Remus couldn't care less.
I wasn't planning on sharing this fic yet (or maybe ever) but I'm bored so I'm doing this. This fic is relatively dark - it handles a lot of heavy topics. Just know I'm not writing this lightly and understand the severity of everything that is comes up. Some of it I've been through myself and some of it I would just like to represent. I'm going to put the main warnings for the fic here now, but they will also be mentioned at the beginning of every chapter. If you don't want spoilers, skip past the warnings, but take care of yourselves because these topics are very very heavy.
WARNINGS: self harm, suicide attempts (past and present), grooming, drug abuse and rehab, child abuse/neglect, unhealthy relationships, manipulation, alcohol misuse, PTSD hinted at. (I might add more here later on.)
Title meaning: 'Killer Queen' can mean a person who is of high status in society but acts out or acts provocatively.
