Jay’s ears rang. The music was too loud and the lights were too bright. He closed his eyes for a second. He tried to think, yet his thoughts felt messy and jumbled together.
Jay felt his arm getting grabbed. He opened his eyes and tried to see who it was, but his vision was blurry. Somebody said something to him and began pulling him away from the crowd.
Jay tried to calm himself down. It was probably Kai, he thought. He had passed the bathrooms not long ago.
That was until he noticed he was dragged away from the stage.

He gave up on getting further, his cries sucking all his strength from him. He struggled to sit and curled up into a tight ball. He used his legs to shove himself backward until his back collided with the cold wall. Jay let the tears soak his bare knees. He let them glide down his legs and let them begin to soak his shorts.

Danno turned around, fearful of what monster had managed to get into the ship. Instead of an Eyeless dog like he had expected, he was met with Phaleur who was holding a shovel over his head.
“Phaleur what-” Danno didn’t get to finish his sentence as the shovel came flying down. Danno tried to move out of the way but he was too slow and the shovel connected with his skull. Danno’s head spun and he struggled to stand steadily. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted the shovel getting lifted again. Danno’s heart rabbit jumped into his throat with fear.

Summary
Late nights like these where his hand's hurt so bad the gloves didn't help were not a foreign concept to Rudo. What made this night particularly hard for the young teen was the absence of Regto. He never planned for not having Regto there to help him through the worst of it, and Rudo wasn't sure what his subconscious would do in order to get the help he needed, but refused to ask for.
