Sherlock Holmes is a bored lonely man. A man to whom a lot happens, but rarely of true interest. Universe, never one to be lazy, places a seemingly happenstance encounter in his path. A path he has purposely refuses to walk for his own reasons.
When two men, travelling different paths in life cross, neither has any way of knowing that their paths could be changed forever, if they could only take the necessary steps.

"All that guilt connected to the memory swells up, mixes with the pure terror he experiences, as John finally gets the proof of what a freak Sherlock really is. For an investigation, John has to flirt with a suspect. It's not his sexual orientation that bothers him, he's pretty much comfortable with it, it's the fact that the suspect is a gay, sex-obsessed serial killer. But it's for the case.

Sherlock doesn't know how to swim. So John comes up with a plan. A perfect plan. A plan for the ages. All he needs is a willing Sherlock, a pool, new swim trunks, a time machine, and a… John doesn’t have a plan. He doesn’t even know where to start actually. Without more information from Sherlock, John can’t determine what things will and won’t cause issues for him. He will have to tell Sherlock he wants to teach him to swim and go from there.
And accidentally fall more deeply in love as a result.

Summary
Well,with life being rough,I could use a bit of softness and cuddles. Dabbled in plans for a while, but then a lot went downhill with plans IRL, I power wrote all but the first few chapters in one night...even as it turned to the next morning.
I'm sure there are mistakes,so call me out on them so this doesn't stay a mess!
