Summary
[“Just to be clear,” Yaz said, feeling very tired. “You’re wearing an eyepatch. You’ve gone for all-black. The hood of your coat, which you’ve clearly just begged the TARDIS to make in a slightly darker shade of blue, is up. But the rainbow suspenders—”]
The universe has fallen to the Flux. War rages without end. On one side, a damaged Swarm and Azure command dwindling legions of the faithful. On the other, a stranger with three faces and no mercy left to give has gathered what’s left of the universe behind her—whether they like it or not. As more and more of the universe bends to her will, the only question that remains is what will become of the universe when the war is finally won?
Amidst these scattered pieces, a small resistance is forming, built on whispers and shreds of hope. Only those who were there know the truth: Yasmin Khan is dead. The Earth is gone. The Doctor is out.
And on a planet long-forgotten, something—someone— is waking in the shadows… -

Summary
[You don’t do it consciously, or at least, that’s what you’ll tell yourself later. You’re only human. You were wronged. She didn’t just betray you, she betrayed the machine, she betrayed the physics at work between you. You’ve buried the hatchet, or at least left it in the chicken coop, but there’s still unfinished business. Frayed ends, unresolved loops. You don’t do it consciously, but that night, under a blanket of stars, off the road near some dusty shithole between Madrid and Zaragoza, you ignore the dark pit of you that loves her and submit yourself to nature, take on the burden of punishment yourself.]

Summary
Haven is a planet at the edge of time, on the brink of destruction. Ravaged by the Time Lords and a war that time forgot, its people are desperate for justice before it’s too late, and the Doctor might be the only being left in the universe who can provide it — because she was the one who started it. So why can't she remember doing it?
Summoned from Earth to serve as witnesses, Ryan plays politics with the locals and Graham struggles to hold his family together, while Yaz grapples with everything she thought she knew about the Doctor...and about justice itself.
Meanwhile, the Doctor would very much like to save the planet that she once helped to destroy — and even her own trial and execution won’t stop her.

Summary
[By the way: facing the wall, such gentlemen—that is, the “direct” persons and men of action—are genuinely nonplussed. For them a wall is not an evasion, as for us people who think and consequently do nothing; it is not an excuse for turning aside, an excuse for which we are always very glad, though we scarcely believe in it ourselves, as a rule. No, they are nonplussed in all sincerity. The wall has for them something tranquillising, morally soothing, final—maybe even something mysterious ... but of the wall later.]

Summary
On the hunt for anything that will give them a glimpse of the future, Yaz and her boys have tracked down an alien artefact to Paris in 1904 — and it’s just been bought by a young Gertrude Stein, still establishing her home and her art collection in the 6th arrondissement alongside her brother. But the artefact is not a painting, or even a predictor of the future: instead, it’s something else entirely…and Yaz and Gertrude find themselves forced to grapple with each other’s natures and each other’s secrets in order to escape.

Summary
“What do you all dream about, anyway,” Carol asked.
“Colors,” Zosia said. “And language, sound. Architecture.”
Carol lifted her head. “Architecture?”
Zosia either smiled with just one side of her mouth — which was new — or Carol could only see one side — which was also new. In either case, her own mouth felt dry.
“Systems,” Zosia said. “Simplicity. We’re interested in continuity.”

The Doctor, Yaz, and Dan go on their post-Flux trip through the universe. If only talking wasn't so difficult, and they didn’t keep running into versions of the Doctor that definitely, absolutely should not exist.

Summary
What Sasuke Uchiha wants is an indeterminate EC-02 Step 2 position with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation that offers a decent salary, health benefits, paid vacation, and a manager who won't break all his Excel spreadsheets. What he gets is Naruto Uzumaki, an improbably attractive and unbearably annoying co-op student who eats way too much instant ramen and doesn't understand that "casual Friday" doesn't mean varsity sweatpants.
