Summary
Usually, when you think of a superhero that is spider-themed, you think of Peter Parker or Miles Morales. Yeah, we do things a bit differently here in Universe-8501. Here, we have Arachnid. They're Queen's local spider here to stop petty crimes like purse-snatchers, robbers, and high-school bullies. Oh, and every so often, there's this little problem with Void, this little villain (totally not Arachnid's arch-nemesis, definitely not).
Carley just wants to live a normal high school life, but unfortunately, Parker Luck won't let that happen. After being bitten by a radioactive spider on a trip to Oscorp, Carley can do a lot more than an average high schooler can.
Ava just wants to keep her brother safe and alive after the devastating death of her parents. Sure, maybe she had to do some things she wasn't proud of, but nothing will stop her from making sure Miles gets into the best school and the college of his dreams.

Summary
Danny didn’t want to be here, didn’t want to be smiling at people who thought he was worth nothing more than the dirt on their shoes, didn’t want to be dressed up like a doll. But Vlad told him to behave, so he did. Vlad needs these people’s money and influence to expand his business, so Danny’s job is to smile and nod and charm his way into hearts and wallets. The Waynes, though, seem to be able see right through Danny’s mask. Even stranger, they seem to want to help him.

Danny is outed as Phantom to his parents who then hand him over to Vlad Masters with the promise that Masters will “bring their Danny back” and punish the ghost who is “wearing their son’s skin”. Masters jumps at the opportunity to use Danny as a substitute for his Obsession, training Danny to be his heir and experimenting on him in turn. It all changes when Masters blusters his way into various parties to gain influence, wielding Danny as a pity-card, and they gain the notice of Bruce Wayne (abused-and-orphaned-children Foster Dad Extraordinaire).
