“Sure, it is. He heals you; he wracks up uncover-the-soul-brownie-karma points! It’s great!”
“Yeah. You just, you don’t, Jace, he’s- It’s constantly shifting on me. He’s confusing me. This morning, I asked for a pen, for a breakfast supplies list. Jace, I think he was surprised I can write. Does he think Shadowhunters can’t read? He doesn’t know who I am.”
“You’re going to be alright, buddy. I have faith in you. In the two of you. And you just gotta keep him occupied, and not killing people, while we figure out where his memories are being stored and get them back.”
“Yeah. And wear down that damn soul damp. Okay. He heals me, we’re on our way. Then we better come up with a string of good deeds for him to do. Maybe ones that don’t require me to get bit by kiddie-pool demons?”
