Bay and Emmett sat side by side on their Tokyo balcony. The bustle and the excitement of the city invigorated them. Bay was expecting their first child. Years passed since their wedding, but neither of them knew where the time went. Bay ended up graduating from an art school in Japan, she was both a successful artist and an art teacher. She made a real name for herself in Japan.
Emmett was also widely successful. After Bay returned to art school, he also found a film school in Japan and recently he just got hired on his first big project as a director.
They only went back to the states for Christmas, but they enjoyed frequent visits from Katherine and John. Daphne was busier with her life as a doctor, but she’s been out to visit as well. Same with Toby and his family.
Their life wasn’t perfect, and neither was their relationship. But it was theirs. And they vowed never to give up on each other ever again.
