Summary
Dreams have been the crux of all prohpecy an salvation, a dream that saved a family from its people's doom, a dream that drove a man into breaking the old order of things and bring about a new norm, all leading to a dream where spring would come as more than an instant and winters not last years on end.
Yet dreams and their speakers are as fallible as any other person, prone to misreadings as they are right, or simply part of something far greater and long forgotten. A song centuries in the making will herald something new for the world in time, as Aegon had seen it.
Yet, what he did not see is that, with the presence of another ancient family line, that this song of ice and fire is only a part of a saga of gemstones.

Follows the life of Visenya Targaryen, initially starting in the lead up to the birth of Aenys. The conquest and earlier life told in flashbacks/memories then will move to current time story. Probably don't read if you think Aegon and Rhaenys hated their sister/wife. Follows cannon events, though Orys has been aged up and Maegor aged down slightly, tried to stay true to the few personality traits we know of the three conquerors

She did not expect to wake up after dying, and she didn't expect to be in another world, one that was her brother's favorite fiction piece not hers, it would be one thing to wake up during the events of the book, she at least watched a bit of the TV Show! But why the hell was she reborn more than 200 years before any character she can remember was even born? Well, at least she is a Princess and got a dragon! Life could be worse, right? Or at least was what she thought, before realizing that medieval politics and society where way too diferent from what she was used to.
