It all basically started a few months ago, when I had this headcanon. This is haikyuu related.
So...
Kenma Kozume and Tadashi Yamaguchi are related. Despite this relation of the two, neither of them wanted this, but not because of hatred- but rather because of sympathy (which turns into empathy).
Tadashi was never born a Yamaguchi... he was birthed as a Kozume. Tadashi Kozume. That only happened because of Kenma's father... Kenma's biological father.
Yes. They are merely half-brothers: same mother and different fathers. Tadashi's biological father was given the last name "Yamaguchi". He only got that last name legalised by the time he turned 9 - a couple of weeks before he met his best friend, Kei Tsukishima.
Kenma met his childhood friend, Tetsurō Kuroo, roughly around 2 weeks before the present was shifted into how we know it now.
They reconnected into acknowledgment of the other in their first match together. They spoke to the other for the first time after almost 8 years, during the Tokyo training camp.
The once "Dollhouse" that Kenma thought that couldn't be cracked and patched up (though he stopped fixing it for a while) any more, a tsunami of events finally break it.

.The heated Summer of 2012. Camp Forestgreen(author is not creative), which matched well with the woods and tree completely surrounding the campers. Crushes are made and soon revealed, hands are snuck under shirts and sneaking off to kiss behind the make-out pillar insues, and children are brutally murdered and hunter at night.
Oh, and a couple campers have sex.

Those who survive live to tell the story. But, do they really even want too? And, when all that happens is still trapped in their thoughts and constantly encircling them; do they truly even survive? Just because you're gone, doesn't mean the horrors are.
