Will Solace had long come to terms with the fact that he was the oldest child of Apollo. That he was in charge now and it was his responsibility to take care of his younger siblings... like Lee and Michael had cared for him.
Will's siblings were grateful for him stepping up. He's an amazing big brother. They just wish that he also had someone to rely on too.
Nico is worried about his boyfriend. Will had to comfort his little siblings, he had to be the grown up and cabin counsellor from age 13. Nico wasn't sure Will had ever truly processed his own losses and guilt after the Second Titan War.
Apollo watched so many of his children die. Brutal, awful deaths. And he couldn't do anything to save them. He still wasn't supposed to interfere... Apollo has lost too much to really care about stupid ancient laws. His only child who survived the Battle of Manhattan. Kayla and Austin had been too young to fight... realistically Will should have been too young as well. But they'd needed medics.
Chaos could hear Apollo's desperate prayers for something to help his little sunshine. They couldn't ignore their families hurt any more
