But now he mounted his horse and rode away in the rays of the setting sun. As Arthur’s horse was galloping away Charles could only stare at the fainting figure that kept getting smaller and smaller in the sun that slowly sat at the horizon.

Well, maybe it was a little bit too warm but after their camp in Colter it felt like heaven on Earth. In the aftermath of good fortune before the fall for the Van der Linde gang, Dutch finds himself split between the greed and yearning of another win and the promise of a life promised to his family. The city of Blackwater is ripe for the taking with a police force built for the town it used to be and a bank large enough to house the entirety of the federal dime, it is tempting to just follow instinct and rob it and the fortunate few blind of their boats and riches. But wins like this have yet to secure that dream of his. The one of safety and freedom he set forth to bring to his gang. The west promises all of that and more. But the dilemma lies in getting there in one piece, the trail to the west is filled with peril in Illness, animals, and men just like them out for blood. But Dutch had never once been considered rational to any sane man and once he sets his mind to something. There's no stopping it until all is said and still.

John just had quite an amount of beer, maybe also a few glasses of whiskey. He was sitting at the table, resting. He was watching the camp life, Javier singing, Uncle snoring a few meters away, the girls whispering to each other and giggling. Arthur was at the camp for once in a while, drawing at his tent and secretly (as he thought) shooting glances at Charles. Everything was casual and calm, just as he loved. No O'Driscolls, no Pinkertons. Just a break from all the running, jobs and crazy shooting.
