The screaming started again. This time it was everywhere. Luke’s blood was cold, but he felt stronger than before, more determined. He had to get everyone off the ferris wheel. Luke cringed, recognizing the sound of Ivy’s shrieks, ringing above all the others. He yanked the lever like a madman, trying not to watch in agony as passengers did their best to jump. He heard a muffled crack that sounded suspiciously like a bone.

It started at the Ambenz fair, where Luke Hemmings, ferris wheel operator, is taken captive along with 18 others by a rebel organization. The mission is lead by Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, and Ashley Frangipane. No one is sure how they managed to break through the Badlands, but no one is more determined to break back in than Luke. But maybe Ambenz isn't everything he believes, and maybe Michael could say the same about Luke. -

---Dream stepped away from George, he turned his back to the man as he finished his circle. Walking past Sapnap..
It wasn’t a split second decision, but it sure felt like it. The idea rolled around in this hunter’s head for what felt like eternity, but the actions felt as if he had no time to truly think about it. Dream was only a foot away from Sapnap. In all his tall, green and weird glory. The eyes on his shoulders brought a shiver down Sapnap’s back. It looked wrong, it looked all wrong. Why would anything that lived look like that if there wasn’t something wrong with them.
Sapnap’s hand snaps out, wrapping around Dream’s ankle as he hauls himself to his knees. Yanking back and pulling the male’s foot from under him.
It caught Dream completely off guard, and he yelped as his back hit the ground. The other two hunters startled awake.
“I gotcha you little bitch.”

“Ranboo?”
Ranboo freezes but slowly turns around again. He meets the gaze of the demon, the leader of the so called Badlands, the armored being in front of him who could kill him without breaking a sweat, and he holds out a hand for Ranboo to take.
“It’s going to rain soon.” BadBoyHalo tells him, voice light. There is no malice in his eyes, only curiosity and concern. “And I’ve heard you don’t like rain. You wanna come inside?”
Ranboo’s head tells him it's a trap but his gut looks Bad in the eyes and knows he’s being genuine. There’s no catch to the offer, it’s simply given to him out of… Pity? The goodness of Bad’s heart? Whatever it is, it makes Ranboo want to collapse on the spot.
When did he get so tired?
(Ranboo feels like he has nowhere to go. The Badlands beg to differ.)

Because, although they don’t really wear a Badlands uniform, most aliens are smart enough to notice that, one, their spaceship isn’t chartered by any of the big spatial powers and two, their crew is far too diverse to be normal. And they’re all smart enough to know that this is not good news. So they don’t bother them.
Except for Ponk.
Because Ponk – whoever that guy is – just slips next to them at the small booth, sitting right next to Bad on the bench.
“Hey!” he greets in some heavily accented Common. “Do you guys have some credits I could borrow?”
Sam blinks in surprise. “Pardon?”
“Some credits,” Ponk repeats. “My buddy left me with practically nothing and I was just vibing, waiting for him, but I’m bored now.”OR: The Badlands picks up a random alien from an ill-famed space station. He is also definitely an alien. No one doubts it.
