Or could they find these runaways and turn them to their side, for one last stand against the devil?
This is the story of Cuphead, Mugman, and Chalice if things had gone a different way: and they formed a camaraderie with their fellow debtors to stand against the Devil.

Apparently not. Her friend Cuphead wants to go to that Casino as she tried to lead him away, but was unsuccessful. And, being the idiot he was, he bet his own soul, and hers, for all the money in the Casino. What happens when they lose?

After making peace with most of the Isle over their short yet indelible stint collecting debts for the Devil, Cuphead and Mugman have spent the past year getting to know those they've been warned away from for their entire childhoods. But when the death of a loved one quite pointedly turns their lives upside down, they find themselves back in the lion's den sooner than they would have liked.
