"I don't know..." He pauses, as if searching for the right words. "To be on top of the mountain, I guess. You have so many responsabilities, so many people to please and look after. I think I'm just asking because I can't imagine doing what you do, as good as you do."
George is good at what he does, was trained to be, power was something he always knew was meant for him, one way or the other.
And sitting here? With the fruits of his efforts, with his legacy finally solidified? It's everything he's ever wanted.
But as he stares at Sapnap, he's made aware of the weight that's always on his shoulders, of the voices whispering on his ears at all times, of the hands that are always greedy for more and more.
He hums.
The evening light envelops Sapnap, leaving George in his shadow. Surprisingly, this doesn't bother him.

Back in high school, Dream and George had a lot of “history.” Dream relentlessly teasing George with no understanding of his own feelings, and George passively putting up with the torment because he was hopelessly in love. One day Dream’s shenanigans go too far and causes George to begin his heat. Public shame and degradation ensues once word is out that George is an omega and George decides to leave both the school and Dream behind. Five years after high school, Dream is still not over George. Despite his efforts, Dream couldn’t figure out how to contact and meet George again. After discovering George is the CEO of a gaming company, Dream concocts a plan using his connections as a popular faceless YouTuber and streamer to meet George again.
