Phil has gotten pretty good at keeping track of Techno’s symptoms- when he can get Techno to be honest with him about the things going on internally, that is. The pain, the weakness and sickness and fatigue. He tends to try to hide those.
But Phil knows just as well as Techno does that his illness can flare up without warning, without any reason.
So when he wakes up and Techno is completely still, taking short, careful breaths, Phil expects to hear that it’s going to be a pretty bad day. He lays beside Techno in complete silence for a few minutes, mentally running through a checklist.Series

This is a fic I started almost 2 years ago now (WOOOOW that's crazy to think about.) And during that time we suffered the loss of a legend and some terrible developments with people. SO this fic is in the name of remembrance for Technoblade and preserving the past.

Technoblade was happily retired, or at least that was what he told himself. Once one of the greatest Formula One drivers to ever exist, he now lived a mundane life, under a new identity, while trying to distance himself as far from his history as possible.
Then Philza appeared with a proposal he couldn't find it himself to refuse, and now Techno was thrown back into the world he had no intention of returning to. Then Tommy happened, and now Techno had to juggle between mentoring a child whose present mirrored his past, dealing with his own trauma, and proving to the world that he was (still) deserving of the champion title.
Would Techno be able to drive his way back to the top of the world? Or would he drown in the past he's trying to run from?

Although the world was never anything close to a utopia for omegas, even before the dead started walking, afterwards things got downright dire. Generally smaller and more prone to stress, it's no surprise that they're the first ones to be cast aside and left for dead. And any packs that they do end up within tend to go even worse.
Techno's seen it himself enough times to know. It's firsthand knowledge.
Luckily for Techno, the majority of his childhood was spent in extremely high stress scenarios, malnourished and never feeling safe. Which means that all of his omega nonsense is so stunted that he practically isn't even one! He is set on keeping everyone under that impression, no matter what it takes.
Even if this new pack seems startlingly different from everything that he was used to before.
