Why were they wasting time with the boy who would die for them, who would dry their tears and tell them it'll be okay?
They didn't know. Xingqiu didn't know much of anything anymore. Yet, Chongyun was the most extraordinary human they'd ever met; with his flaming passion, his gentle words... Gah! No! Demons don't like humans!
But there was no denying it. A demon liked- loved, even- a human. There was also no denying that if Chongyun ever found out what they really were... he would kill them. So for now? They would keep up this human facade, grip the mask just a little tighter and pray that Chongyun never had to see what Xingqiu truly was. A beast. A monster. A demon. -
