Summary
Dick liked to think he had a pretty good handle on the whole ‘big brother’ thing by now, even if Tim still saw sleep as optional and Damian still got a little stabby when a hug lasted too long.
But then Damian’s other big brother comes to town, mysterious and red-helmeted and oddly familiar, and seems to want nothing to do with the Bats sans Damian. Damian is strangely close-lipped about his other brother's past, but Dick is determined to find out more about the Red Hood - he could always use more little brothers, anyway!

There's an Arkham Breakout, and Arkham's patients take over Gotham. The reporters are calling it the Battle of Gotham. It's so bad that Bruce has to call Clark and the other heroes down to secure the city.
Even with all of these other heroes, it's Damian who steps up to the stand.

"What do you want him to do?" Drake snapped. "Admit that he's a little bit worried about you because you fucking died?"
Damian was on his feet before he knew what happened. He couldn't breathe for the hate burning in his chest. How dare Drake talk about it. How dare he preach as though he agreed. "I'm surprised you pretend to give a fuck, Drake," he hissed, derision and bitterness dripping from the words. "I...I would have thought you were happy I was gone!"
He didn't think about the words until after they left his mouth, after the Cave was deadly silent and the sentence echoed through the room, hung in the air like smoke. Drake's chest was heaving, but he didn't say a word, and his eyes were so dark that Damian actually took a step back in irrational fear. Abruptly, Drake shoved his chair back with a screech, and left without a word, his footsteps resounding through the cave. Damian watched him go, numb.

I'm so sorry," he sobs, and when Damian reaches one of those small, thin hands up towards him he ducks down and carefully curls his hand beneath Damian's head and neck, hides his tears in Damian's messy hair. He can feel the boy's tiny form shake with weak sobs beneath him, and he wishes he could fix this. Damian’s heart stutters. The body is Grayson’s, slumped to the ground against the cliff face. Snow piles against Batman’s sprawled legs and sticks in clumps to the dips of his cape.

In their early days as Batman and Robin, Dick and Damian were interrogated by Ra’s al Ghul. Dick was drugged. Four years later, his memories of the incident are fuzzy.
