Tras apuntar a su hermano al cuello con una espada, los Valar deciden castigar a Fëanor, no con exilio, sino obligándolo a casarse de nuevo. Lo justifican como una probada de su propio veneno. Habiendo perdido a su primera esposa tras el parto de los gemelos, Fëanor juró no volver a casarse, leal a su difunta esposa y negado a cometer el mismo error que su padre. Al oír el veredicto, arde en cólera y se promete: 1) jamás amará o procreará con su segunda esposa y 2) hará lo imposible para romper el matrimonio. Fëanor, el más grande de los elfos, obstinado y orgulloso, cumpliría su promesa.
Daenora es la segunda hija del rey Viserys y la reina Aemma. Creció en la Fortaleza Roja, donde el veneno corre en cada copa y los buitres esperan su caída. Feanaro may be very much unwilling, but the alternative requires introspection which will hurt, heal, and ultimately change more than just his perspective.

In later ages, when the chronicles of the Noldor are studied in dim halls and the names of princes are spoken only in undertone, the loremasters still disagree on many things. But on one point all accounts converge: when the Enemy returned in a guise of humility, his eyes fell first upon the Prince.
For Fëanor was brilliant, proud, and fierce—but he was not mad.
Not until Melkor made him so.Long before the Silmarils were stolen, Melkor had already marked the son of Finwë: a fëa burning too bright, far too bright. To such a light he was drawn with covetous hunger. And so he waged a quiet, merciless war upon the Prince’s spirit—whispers where others heard none, shadows only he could see. Bit by bit, Fëanor’s fire devours him.
And thus the question lingers across the ages:
How much blame may rest on one who was hunted by shadows no one else believed in—and how much on those who refused to see the trap closing around them until it was far too late? -

When the house of Fëanor is banished to Formenos after Fëanor points a sword at Fingolfin, Finwë doesn't go into exile with his eldest son, as many in Tirion thought he would do. Instead, he spends years planning how to put an end to the feud between Fëanor and Fingolfin, and comes to the conclussion that the best way to do it is to arrange a family dinner and announce his intention to marry Fëanor's eldest son to Fingolfin's eldest daughter without consulting anyone beforehand. Will his plan work, or will it just break the family further?

Sauron was afraid of her. I don’t think they were allies. I think she’s something more terrible than any being, even Moringotto, could ally with.)
