"Not unimportant, but not vital. These are their journals," he said before Al had the chance to interrupt him. "Some of them did great things, and I thought you might learn something from them."
..."Tell me," Draco whispered in his ear, and both his hands stilled. "If there was one spell you could do right now, what would it be?"
Al closed his eyes and tried to think of magic flowing through him, through the tips of his fingers and into his wand, about the desire to do something, and shook his head. "None."
He felt Draco's lips on his back, kissing him then turning into a smile.

James nods his head warily in response and slowly backs out of the tent. Draco can feel nerves coursing through his body, a certain uneasiness taking over his post-orgasmic state.
“Well.” Draco clears his throat. “I suppose we should go back out and join the party.”
Albus turns his head to look at Draco before snatching his hand and interlacing their fingers together.
“I think we both can agree this party is a bore,” Albus begins hopefully, his eyes darting nervously around. “Why don’t we go somewhere more private and—”
Albus’s words are cut off as Draco leans forwards and presses his lips against the younger man’s. He pulls away ever so slightly, forehead resting against Albus’s, lips just barely touching.
“My place or yours?”

Now, all they have to do is grit their teeth and somehow get through the sodding wedding planning ― let alone the dreaded event itself ― and Scorpius can get on with being happy with Albus. Never mind that their families seem to be competing against each other in the Wizard Wedding Argument Olympics, that Albus looks more miserable every day, and that Scorpius couldn’t give even the whisper of a fuck about cakes, invitations, and wizarding tradition. All Scorpius really wants is Albus, but it’s not about them. That’s how getting married works, isn’t it?
