Summary
Phil had never seen himself ending up working at a group home, after getting his degree in child psychology, but here he is.
Tommy is his newest patient, the twelve-year-old admitted after nearly a decade of physical and emotional abuse from his brother. Phil may not be experienced in dealing with neurodivergence or trauma, but what Tommy needs is to be treated with patience and understanding, to be helped to feel safe. And he certainly can do that.
