Gascard reaches for it, his hand outstretched, and the glass makes a small cracking noise as the bullet fires through the window. Gascard screams, now missing his middle and index finger, while Hawke is laughing in the ear piece. “He’ll be feeling that for a while,” she says as she reloads. -
