Under normal circumstances I'd put more effort into tags and descriptions. I'll always make warnings clear though, no side swipe surprises. My OC lives rent free in my head and I can't get him out. He's not even originally a fantasy character. The shit lard's canon setting is a Western. The dude is a cowboy and yet here he is. Sorry if I don't describe him well. A scowl knit the White Wolf’s brows, and they took a nice, long stride closer to the antagonizing Cat. A bold choice when moving closer required him to start looking up just to meet their eyes. “Just going to let it bat you around a bit? Make it look like you’re doing something good and worthwhile before scamming more people out of coin they already don’t have?”The lack of response, of reaction, was always infuriating for anybody who wanted to make a point. To strike a blow like that at someone’s character was to invite a fist fight. Yet all that was given in return was a kind smile that didn’t quite reach the Cat’s eyes. Empty. A twisted mask used solely to elicit discomfort. “You reach for some real low hangin’ fruit.”

The Sign flared, a dull gold shimmer, before the creature struck. The impact threw him back, the shield cracking like ice. Steel rang on talon. Feathers and fur filled his vision. The beast shrieked, a sound that clawed the air apart.
Jaskier’s shout was lost in the roar.
Geralt rolled, came up on one knee, slashed low. The blade met hide and bit shallowly — not enough. The griffin reared, blood spattering the snow, wings beating with hurricane force. Geralt’s hood was torn away.
Another strike — a flash of claws — and pain like fire seared across his ribs. He stumbled back, breath torn from him. Quen guttered and failed.
