Summary

Now the new DADA professor of Harry’s second year, Apollo takes up the fake name Gilderoy Lockhart and the quest to protect a danger-prone Boy-Who-Lived from Dark Lords and an approaching war.

After Tartarus, things were different. Apollo Justice stood in his usual court attire, though his hair looked especially rumpled today, as though he’d been running his hands through it nervously. The horns still managed to look immaculate, though. Their eyes met, and Klavier felt like Apollo was reading the lines of his soul, his gaze was so intense.
The defense attorney’s eyebrows knit together in what looked like… concern? Worry? Maybe just annoyance. His mouth opened and closed a couple times like he didn’t know what to say, and then he settled on, “Are you alright, Prosecutor Gavin?” and his voice was far too loud like it always was, but really, Klavier didn’t care. Normally it might have even been endearing. He just needed to get away from those piercing, all-knowing eyes of his, because he could already feel himself unraveling.
“You don’t need to worry about me, Herr Forehead. You always say it best, ja? ‘I’m fine!’” The prosecutor’s smile probably looked as insincere as it felt.
Apollo frowned deeper and his left hand flexed. “You’re lying,” he said simply.or, apollo is the one person klavier finds he doesn't have a put up a front for in his life. the aftermath of turnabout succession hits him hard.

Summary
Apollo had not expected to once again be faced with the punishment of mortality so soon after his trials.
Having angered his father once more, Apollo finds himself mortal again and made to attend the hero course at UA, far from any semblance of home.
After all that had changed with his trials, a spiraling Apollo doesn't see how he could ever be a hero, even as he learns how to be a pro alongside his classmates. In the aftermath of his trials, he no longer feels like he knows what path to follow now that he no longer has the assurance of immortality and the mask of narcissism to fall back upon. He's been thrown away, lost with no hand to guide him.
