It would be comical if I started talking about the thing. But actually I think that's what the opening sentence is made for. The truth is, I didn't want to cheat. I know it's cliché for a husband to say this. Or that there was never really anything there. But, fuck. What the hell was wrong with me? Or was it just him that was the problem? I guess I'll never know.

Now has come the time for the next leader to be chosen, only Walburga and Orion don't see they're sons fit, Sirius having been disowned and Regulus never being worthy in their eyes. A tournament is being hosted in their manor to find who the best hunter is, where the contestants must fight a beast to remove the Horcrux from it's neck and be named the leader. Sirius returns home after 6 years to compete and Regulus is a year to young to be able to compete. Different hunters come from around Europe, one of them being Remus Lupin, a mysterious man with over 200 kills to his name. Only Remus doesn't want the Horcrux, it's the monster he wants...

“What?” Remus said, finally turning to look at him and leaning in close. “You jealous?” he breathed in Sirius’ ear. Sirius fought the incomprehensible urge to shudder.
“Jealous of what?” he asked, staring fixedly at a small chandelier that hung from the ceiling. One of its bulbs was flickering, and he latched onto it as if it were the most interesting thing in the world.
“You tell me,” Remus said, leaning back at last and giving him the space to breathe again.
Sirius turned his head slowly to find Remus looking at him, a smirk dancing across his face.
But then, “Relax mate, I’m just messing with you,” Remus said, clapping him on the back before pushing out his chair and sloping off to Madam Pince, finished with his book.
Sirius was left there floundering for a moment. Was he jealous? Sirius? He almost laughed.
What did that scrawny, little year four have on him that he should be jealous of? As if.

Our story is set after the events of Prisoner of Azkaban. To sum up what happened, the book (and the movie) centers around Harry's third year at Hogwarts, where he learns that Sirius Black, an escaped prisoner from Azkaban, is supposedly hunting him. At the same time he met a new professor on his first day of school : The professor Remus J. Lupin who is going to be the teacher of Defense Against Dark Arts. However, this man is a little bit strange : he disappeared once a month. As the school year progresses, Harry uncovers more about his past, including the truth about his parents' deaths and their betrayal. He learns that Sirius was his father's best friend and also his godfather, not the enemy everyone believes him to be. And that Peter Pettigrew, who was thought to be dead, is the real traitor. With the help of Hermione's Time-Turner, Harry and Hermione go back in time to save Sirius and the Hippogriff Buckbeak from execution, allowing them to escape together. The story ends with Harry gaining a sense of family and hope, while understanding that Remus is a werewolf. He understands that Remus, Sirius, Peter and his own father James, were the Marauders.
