Summary
New Mexico, late 1950's.
According to rumour, Hamilton Ranch had recently acquired a prized stallion in need of breaking - but as of yet, no man had been up to the task. Eager for a challenge, and desperate after being kicked out of his last Ranch, John Silver decides to try his luck at Hamilton Ranch. Silver can only hope the prized stallion will be easier to work with than the enigmatic Rancher with copper hair.

When Marinette Agreste is arrested and framed for armed robbery (yes, she had been part of the robbery but that absolutely was NOT her gun in her bag, she swore), she's pretty certain her life is over. That is until a kindly stranger offers another unique, and perhaps unprecidented option: sending her away to a reform camp.
Marinette isn't sure what that might entail, but she's willing to do just about anything that will keep her out of jail. At least until this pampered princess finds out that "reform camp" is really just a fancy term for some broken down, flea bitten horse ranch in the middle of buttfuck nowhere where she's expected to do manual labor in exchange for a place to sleep and three square meals a day. Surly there are child labor laws against this!?
Worse, now she has to deal with the stuck up, holier-than-thou attitude of the owners son and his unfairly sweet but totally off limits best friend. Somehow, she thinks this might be a fare worse than going to prison.
