“Do you remember anything?” Doctor asked.
He shook his head, then regretted it when pain lanced across his temples. “No, nothing.”
Not-Doctor growled(?) under his breath. “Not anything?”
“No...?”
“Jesus.” Not-Doctor leaned his forehead against the wall and spat a few choice words into it. “Not even the—“
“Not now.” Maybe-Doctor flashed a pointed look at Not-Doctor. “Let him wake up.” He turned back to the bed. “You remember a name, or are ya good with Tom?”
Maybe-Doctor took his perturbed silence—and increased beeping of the heart monitor—to mean ‘yes’. “Alrighty then, Tom. Jeff, would’ya get some food in here?”
His stomach rumbled at the words. He hadn’t realised how hungry he’d been, but now it was all he could think about.
Doctor—Jeff—nodded and quietly slipped out the door.
Maybe-Doctor held out his hand. “Name’s Newt, Tommy,” the young man said with a grin. “I won’t overwhelm you with the nasty details just yet, but you’ve chosen an unfortunate world to lose your memory in."

It was Tim's first time at the circus; his parents suddenly decided to take him, perhaps they were going because Tim had been asking for a sibling, but that was probably wishful thinking on Tim's part. Do they even give away siblings at the circus? Tim was having fun at least; he got his first hug from a boy whom he would love to have as a sibling, and then, almost as if the universe listened to his wants, that boy's parents fell to their deaths. The universe must have some twisted sense of humor, but who was Tim to deny such an opportunity? Though, like most things, he couldn't stop at one. Soon, he was collecting siblings like Pokémon.

She looked up and down the hall one more time before jumping down, landing silently behind the drone on the cold metal floor, one of her hands a machine gun.
"T-time to die." She hissed as he turned around slowly.Uzi Doorman lost her father a long time ago in an incident with the doors. Uzi terrorized the colony for a while before stumbling across the Disassembly Drones.

You were a prime target for bullying, and you also didn't have any friends to help you now. But at least nobody can share your secrets or judge you for past mistakes--clean slate.
You struggled during your first day, but you've already struggled since elementary so... no surprise there.
After years of mental struggles, you grew somewhat accustomed to the way you went about your life. The bullies never changed, but that wasn't any surprise. And when the worst hit its peak, you found refuge in those around you. So even through the bad, these little highlights made everything worth it for you.
And just when you thought it might be okay, it only turned to shit again.
