Lance's plan was just to sneak out, take his buddies with him and just gathered some bonding moment, in the same time let Pidge get the chance to try to find his family again.
He didn't expect to rescued his favourite all time teacher from the Garrison itself, stranded in a random house in the desert that probably haunted and somehow get dragged by weird energy force to meet a mechanical cat beast. Not to gotten to meet two aliens who tried to snatch the beast robot only for them to claimed he was a paladin of some sort.
Anyway, this will be a long summer.

He said while crying and on his knees. He was upset, hysterical even. He didn't know what to do. While his emotions took over, his breath got shorter, sharper, and louder. Tears constantly blurring his vision, Lance became lightheaded quickly due to a change in his breathing pattern. Next thing he knew blackness surrounded his vision for a few moments in time. He panicked due to the loss of vision. He regained his vision but before he knew it he lost control of his body, he could only move his eyes. He tried to look around but noticed his head was moving, no it was falling. No matter what he tried he couldn't control his body. A few seconds after he landed on the floor. There was no pain but there should've been. He screamed but his lips didn't open, he mentally panicked while having uncontrollable emotions already rushing through him. His eyes bounced around for anything or anyone, no one was there anymore. Keith had just been right there, why wasn't he still there. Did Keith leave him all by himself?

When an escort android suddenly shows up at art student Keith Kogane’s doorstep a rainy October day in 2038, he instantly looks for the hidden camera. I mean, who the fuck would be stupid enough to think this is a good idea for a gift? Besides, he did NOT sign up for this. Nope, no robots. Never. But he quickly learns that the charm of an LX700 model is deadly, and that he is not immune to its effects. Suddenly Keith finds himself doing things he would have never imagined and feeling things that shouldn’t be possible to feel for a machine. And Lance, he seems so human. Smiling at him, flirting, complimenting and comforting him through the act. In just a few hours, Keith isn’t sure what the difference between man and machine is anymore. When Lance turns to leave, Keith braces himself for the inevitable rejection, but instead an event ensues that will throw both him and his new android companion into a spiral of events so dark and twisted that there is no way to know whether they will escape alive. And Keith won’t be the only one to ask the essential question of just what it means to be alive, and whether or not androids fall under this definition.

"Just who are you?” Keith whispers as Lance’s warm breath fans over the base of Keith’s neck. Lance could feel Keith swallow, the slow tug of the throat causes Lance to press even further up again Keith.
“Someone that needs their soulmate to rule with them,” Lance whispers, sharp fangs drag against Keith’s pale skin on his neck. The feeling sent chills up Keith’s back, he could not understand why Lance was making him feel this way, it was strange.
Lance’s long sharp fangs penetrate into the thin pale skin on the base of Keith’s neck. He jumps from the sudden pain that shoots up his neck. For some odd reason Keith doesn't feel his blood be drawn instead it cold liquide gets injected into his neck.
Keith’s eyes went heavy, the world seemed as if it was spinning. He could feel the strong hold that Lance had on him yet he could do nothing to get those hands away from him. He felt like yelling out for help yet he couldn't help the sudden wave of calmness that came over him.
At that moment in time Keith felt like he was truly supposed to stand by Lance for the rest of eternity.

A knight named Lance rose up to accept the challenge - rescuing a princess that was held captive by a dragon - along with his comrades Hunk and Pidge, going on the journey to rescue this forsaken maiden. However, he doesn’t find a dangerous dragon’s keep or a princess. Lance instead finds a young man with jet black hair locked in a room in a tower. No princess anywhere.
Lance wasn’t very happy about this, leading the two to have an argument until his friends convince him to bring him along back. However, the journey back was going to be a month long trip for all of them.
As time passes, they realize how Keith has been acting strange until the truth comes out that he is the prince and the dragon. Keith was cursed as a boy, distorting his human image into a dragon creature at night. He carries a ring that he is unable to get rid of that ticks down his curse, if he doesn’t find a way to break the curse and save himself; he will be doomed to become a dragon forever.
This soon leads them to try to find a way to lift his curse before it’s too late, perhaps bring Lance and Keith more closer on this voyage.
