A quick glance at the glass windows of the house confirmed that Cassian was using himself as distraction, apparently pulling all the fire on him and making his way through the narrow corridors of the mansion. How he wanted to make it to the extraction point like this was a mystery to Melshi. He stormed out of the shuttle, just in time to see a dark figure launching itself from the top floor, breaking the glass window on its way out. Cassian plunged into the raging river and Melshi couldn’t see him anymore in the balck water. What he could see, though, was the blaster fire still raining down at the fleeing rebel from the broken window.

Melshi saves Cassian on a mission and has to get them to safety somehow, some fluff and angst involved.
