When Visenya Targaryen, second of her name, is about to die because of a spear wound she’s got while fighting the Night King at Winterfell, she momentarily closes her eyes and asks the Gods for a second chance as the princess that was promised. When she opens her eyes the next time, she suddenly finds herself in Dragonstone 172 years ago, just before the Dance of Dragons, having a hard time deciding whether this was due to luck or a curse.
What matters the most, however, is whether Daemon Targaryen will be a friend, an enemy or something more for her in this journey, whether she can really change the future or not and whether she came alone from the future.

The rebel lords got but a slap on the wrist in an effort to unify the realm. King Rhaegar was hailed for his mercy. Everyone should have been happy. The realm was healing.
But Eddard Stark leaves the failed rebellion wounded. A crucial set of events and a hard truth changed the nature of the Lord of Winterfell.

With his dying breath, Rhaegar Targaryen tells Jaime Lannister that he annulled his marriage to Elia Martell and married Lyanna Stark in a secret ceremony, resulting in a pregnancy. Jaime found her as she was dying after giving birth to the heir to the throne, Princess Visenya Targaryen. Lyanna begged the knight to take Visenya north to her brother, Ned, but Jaime couldn’t. Visenya was a Targaryen through and through. Even at birth, the tuft of shock white hair up top of her head, pale skin and sharp facial features would give her away. The honorable Ned Stark would never risk the ire of newly crowned Robert Baratheon by keeping Visenya a secret.
Jaime obviously had to take her back to Casterly Rock with him. After his father, Tywin, had been named Hand of the King, Jaime became Lord Paramount of the Westerlands. He would protect her, raise her as his own bastard. He renamed Visenya, calling her Marla after his great aunt.
If only everything worked as he had hoped.
