After 5 years living in The Loud House, Lincoln lost his motivation to lend a hand as he suffers a nasty burnout where he is tired with his living conditions. After all, he cannot stand living with 10 sisters who mentally exhausted him, fair weather friends who hardly helped him, and parents who finally neglected him. But before the fire can die completely, Lisa offers a final solution: The Summoning of Multiverse Visitors. Why? There are others who has it worse than him and are more troubled than he thinks.
"You have it easier, Lincoln Loud! We deal with death, demons, destiny, family, friendship, betrayal, bloodshed, and trauma every day! We know that being broken by humans is scary, but it doesn't mean you should destroy your connection with the ones you love!"

Shifting runs in the family on the Pines side, if twins are born to the Pines’ family they will always be shifters. Dipper and Mabel’s parents sent them to Gravity Falls, a known haven from poachers/hunters and humans where they can learn to grow and adjust to their new bodies. With the help of the town, they learn how to settle into their second nature. Along the way romance is to be found in unlikely places
In this AU, Ford never built the portal as Bill is a hunter so there would have been no deal to make.
This is also not a super slow burn but not a quick start either, would say medium!
