The stop is instantaneous, Aotsuki’s intense violet eyes widening and affixing to Takumi where he still stands across the room. Taking a moment, Takumi slides his hands into his pockets and moves to join Aotsuki at the door. When he makes eye contact again, Aotsuki’s expression has returned to its normal neutrality, the inscrutable blankness that Takumi is used to whenever Aotsuki doesn’t have a smile on his face. “It’s nothing crazy. Just… you’ve been training in here a lot, haven’t you?”
Blinking in surprise, Aotsuki adjusts his glasses, his hand settling at the side of his face, where he cups his cheek. “What makes you say that?”

As far as chirps go, it’s pretty banal. His tone is far more light and friendly than Scott usually hears from some of the other players— which makes sense. Hollander isn’t known for his shit-talking, in fact he’s known for his complete lack of on-ice antagonization. Hollander plays a very clean game, lets his skill on the ice stand for itself.
Scott should just make his own quick quip in response and skate off. Something that matches Hollander’s energy.
But Scott isn’t feeling very light, nor is he feeling particularly friendly.
