After a long day of searching for Dragon Balls, Bulma, feeling possessive and frustrated, asks Goku who he likes best. When he casually says Chi-Chi, Bulma explodes with jealous rage, insulting Chi-Chi and listing all the ways she is superior. In a desperate move, she grabs Goku and kisses him aggressively while forcing his hand onto her breast, trying to prove she can offer him more. Goku, completely unfazed by the sexual advance, pulls back and simply asks if she's sick because her heart is beating so fast.
His innocent, clueless reaction shatters Bulma, and she shuts down completely, retreating into a capsule house in a state of emotional collapse. Goku is left utterly confused, muttering to himself that girls are weird before following her inside to watch her from a distance. The next morning, Bulma commits to a twisted plan to keep him. She sabotages the motorcycle to prevent their escape and prepares a drug-spiked breakfast. When Goku wakes up and moves to eat, Bulma asserts her dominance by grabbing his tail. The sudden, sharp sensation shocks Goku's system, but he forces himself not to fight back, submitting to her touch as she commands him to eat the meal she prepared, trapping him in her web.

The monkey in the river froze. Slowly, he turned, eyes sharp and full of suspicion.
“Who’s there?” His voice sliced through the air like a whip.
Kakarot tried to back away but tripped and fell off the branch with a loud, dramatic thud. The bananas rolled across the ground.
The river monkey’s eyes went wide. Kakarot, covered in dirt, lifted his head slowly and tried to smile.
“…hi?”
“Were you spying on me, you furry-tailed perv?!” the smaller monkey shouted.
Kakarot turned as red as a ripe guava.
“N-no! I swear! I was just... looking for fruit!” He pointed to the bananas as if they were irrefutable proof of his innocence.

Goku tilted his head, watching the aura around her flicker. “Hey… you’re looking a lot less scary now,” he said, voice calm, almost teasing. “Your heels still click, but… that glow’s kinda softening.”
Chi-Chi’s body wavered in the air, her heels still faintly pulsing. The dark energy that had enveloped her now trembled, like smoke caught in a draft. Her lace sleeves fluttered unnaturally as she descended slowly toward the floor, hands trembling ever so slightly.
Goku stood up, fists still loosely clenched, but he didn’t move to attack. Patience, he thought. Let her find herself… let her remember what she’s protecting.
