When Lord Transyl overcomes Ben's team he makes them slaves, but realizes that Ben is unable to be hypnotized or mindcontroled. Transyl becomes fixated and intrigued by Ben and grows to be fond of him, making him a personal slave. Ben meanwhile tries to make a plan to escape but bids his time as he gets to know the Anur aliens from his past. Leads up to attacks from Incursians and then the limaxs, until its revealed that Rook was killed, devoured and replaced by one.

The end of the world happens and all superheroes and civilians have died, Damian being the last one waits for his death at the top of Wayne tower, only to be found by Colin who he hasn't seen in 15 years since they broke up. The two reminisces about their break up and congratulate each other about their relationships. Apologizing for their deaths. Damian talks about Jon's death by Lava. Both agree to die together and thank each other for being in their lives.
