Yuriush Edogawa, is Ranpo's quiet brother, a twin, identical one. Yet no one ever has trouble telling them apart.
Yuriush does everything, everything he can To not dissapoint him, so his brother doesn't take him for a fool.
__"I am Ranpo Edogawa. [...] I am legally homeless [...] And I hate the homeless shelter, and the smell there,[...] the thing is right next to the sea. It smells so much like salt in there it burns my nose out. [...] And it's never quiet there. [...] I can tell my brother is constantly tired. Or so I think. He is. He's really good at hiding stuff from me. [...] Yuriush.

Taking place after the airport/Meursault arc. !! not “finishing” that arc !! (asigiri can do that :))
The story follows Chuuya and Ranpo's perspectives as the Armed Detective Agency has now been working very closely with the Port Mafia.
Some new pairings and partnerships have been made with this new alliance... this story follows one in particular.
Some characters have to face things that they'd rather keep hidden, previous partnerships get in the way of new ones and a lot of feelings are unresolved.You'll probably get the gist of it after chapter 1 which is pretty short. (~900 wc)

“Maybe you guys just need to get out there,” Yosano tells them, tone skeptical. “You’ll find someone if you look hard enough.” She turns to Ranpo, and adds, “I doubt you even need to find something real; I’m sure someone would be willing to pretend in front of your parents.” She swivels to face Dazai. “And you need, what, someone to make your ex jealous?” she guesses. “There have got to be tons of people who’d quite willingly make out with you, just do it in front of him.”
“Someone to pretend,” Ranpo repeats aloud. “Something fake to fix our problems - it doesn't need to be real at all, of course! That makes it so much easier!”
In unison, his and Dazai's heads move once more, slowly turning until their eyes meet. In that moment, it becomes blindingly obvious who the perfect choice is.Ranpo and Dazai's relationship is just a performance to achieve their goals. The fact that they revel in kissing each other and have more fun when laughing in tandem is irrelevant, of course.

He couldn’t sleep.
It wasn’t that it was too cold or too hot. Actually, he quite enjoyed the subtle breeze that brushed against his skin every so often and the warmth of his blanket against his back.
Nor were there any prudent thoughts probing at his mind.
But there was one reason that he couldn’t sleep. Just one. One singular reason as to why he’d been pulled away from his night of fantasy and fairytale wonderlands.
It was his coworker.
More specifically, his coworker’s moaning.
Or, Dazai and a ‘mysterious someone’ get a tad too frisky somewhere that they really shouldn't... That is, just one thin wall away from Ranpo's sleeping state. The poor guy is held up all night, trying his best to fall back asleep into a blissful nothingness. But he can't, forever awakened by his coworker's 'activities.' Having lost a full night of rest, Ranpo resigns to make a plan to brutally humiliate Dazai and whoever else had kept him awake with their awful moaning.
The first step, of course, was to find out exactly who this other party had been.
