Summary
A mutation has spread across the globe when monsters were released, humans either dying as their bodies couldn’t handle it or mutated with the rest.
The mutation was simple really, a change of dynamics. Humans started taking more unusual forms, growing more than a few ears, eyes, arms, legs, shit even a head at one point. Or body morphing differently altogether. Turning into their worst nightmares.
Y/N being a young child at the time of the outbreak changed with the rest of her family, half of her family died or killed themselves resulting in her being an Orphan at a young age, left alone in the world as her body shifted and changed. Body becomes leaner, smaller…cute. Cat-like ears and tail sprouting from her body, legs breaking and reforming into back hind legs of a cat's, fur covering her legs stopping at her waist.
Not only that, but she is an Omega.
Of course she doesn’t know oh no no no blissfully unaware, well that is until an over caring human Frisk decides to visit the Orphanage dragging along her friend Chara. Whom in turn absolutely dreads the visit. Let's say…frisk was the door to meeting a rowdy group of skeletons…

A skeleton monster to be precise.
With the barrier breaking, a large surge of magic descended on the town you live in, and transformed you overnight. Unsure what to do with you, and the others changed, you're ushered into a facility until a monster with similar magic can take you to teach you how to wield the now uncontrollable magic you've been given. After waiting in this place for four years, you'd given up hope that anyone would ever want to take you.
What a surprise for you when you find out that someone does. A lot of someones.

You can’t die here, even when you want to you wake up again. You don’t know how long it’s been, years? Days? It’s all blurred.
You want nothing more now than to see something different. In one room, you notice rocks, moss and… glowing plants? Doomsday prep has always been necessary in my opinion. If not for your time, then for another's time. So I got married young, to a much older, much richer man, waited a few years for him to die (cancer, so sad), and collected that money like candy at a parade. Then I picked out a nice place for a bunker, and had that thing built in another few years. When Monsters busted out of the mountain nearby, turning some Humans into Monsters, I was only slightly surprised the government's decision was to fucking nuke them all. Now I'm closing the door, and I see people in the distance waving their arms, yelling. I should just close the door, I don't know them, but I don't think it's fair to leave them out to die.
Author's notes, kinda:
Gonna be just Horror, Fell, and Fell/Swap variants.
Characters like Sans, Toriel, Asgore, Frisk, and others are really only mentioned, except Horror Sans.
Papyrus variants are more like different people in this, than variants of the same person.
Also, I don't really like Swapfell Pap (Purple) so sorry, but he might only be there for drama, not for a relationship -
