Summary
Ilya Rozanov is the cocky CEO of a booming Russian real estate company in Ottawa. Millionaire, playboy and self-proclaimed philanthropist. He is also still dealing with the death of his mother and seeing his therapist regularly. But nobody needs to know that.
Shane Hollander is an ambitious teacher-in-training who has had to put his life on hold since his father's Parkinson's diagnosis. He moves back to Ottawa, and gets a job at Rozanov Inc. as their head data analyst (much to his chagrin).
But Ilya uses Shane for everything *but* data analysis. He calls him at 2am just because he wants to speak, or to ask him what tie he should wear at work the next day.
Shane gets fed up. But he just can't stay away, for reasons he isn't up for acknowledging just yet.

Ilya looks dazed, then shakes his hair out of his face and rights himself, reaches for another shot. “You do not tell me what to do, Hollander.”
Shane is going to kill him.
Or, Shane and Ilya, at the club, post-game. Ilya has let Boston’s victory get to his head and Shane brings him back down to earth.
