Summary
In an alternate universe, Six refuses to let go of Mono during the collapse of the Signal Tower, saving his life. However, her choice comes at a cost. Enraged by Six’s unwavering loyalty to Mono, Shade—her shadowy counterpart—tears herself free, severing their bond and stealing Six’s powers.
Now divided and wounded by betrayal, Six and Shade find themselves on opposing paths. With Mono by her side, Six begins to see that her years of solitude may have been a mistake. As she learns to open her heart and trust others, she discovers the strength that comes from connection.
Meanwhile, Shade, consumed by anger and grief, wanders the Pale City alone. In her isolation, she encounters the true essence of the monstrous entity that once inhabited the Signal Tower—an ancient, formless being of pure darkness and power, much like herself. Drawn to its promise of strength, she forms a sinister alliance with the creature, helping it rebuild the ruins of the Signal Tower into something even more formidable.

Summary
Mono grasped onto things too tightly. He trusted too much for the way their world had become. His time spent with the signal tower would contest to that.
But he knew when to call it quits. When to take risky decisions. It's just that- he didn't expect his escape to lead to another world? No seriously that was pretty unreal. He wasn't sure he'd get used to the people here, so he may have gotten into a habit of.. people watching? It was interesting and only reinforced the idea that this was real.
So when someone noticed, he couldn't help but shy away from the scrappy blonde. But by the time he gained the courage to meet them properly, they looked worse for wear.
