Pure Vanilla was a troubled child, from having these visions in his dreams of some sort of past life as a pastry, to his very obscure name. He was adopted, left at the doorstep of the orphanage as a baby, like in some sort of storybook. He was in a basket left with nothing but a name card and a small hair clip, it had a strange blue symbol on it, almost resembling an ice cream cone, he never left his apartment without it, in fact it barely ever left his blonde locks.

And yet, Pure Vanilla doesn’t scare easily. No matter how many times Shadow Milk bares his teeth, throws biting words, or even lashes out, the farm boy stands firm, never once treating him like a monster. Instead, he tends to him with steady hands, feeds the horse Shadow Milk likely stole, and even pokes him on the nose, calling him “sugar cube” with a maddeningly warm smile.
