PHANTOM THIEVES ARE SO OVER! (NOT CLICKBAIT!) (COPS CALLED!!!)
This is the Japan side of Act 17, following Akira Kurusu's perspective. And what a perspective it is! Akira and his friends just witnessed the Midnight Channel, and what they saw was terrifying: Mishima's own Shadow plans to kill Mishima in twenty-four hours!
Do or die, it's time for the Phantom Thieves to act. With the help of some Inaba locals, the group will have to sniff out the location where Mishima is being held within the TV World in order to stage a daring rescue. They know that they will have to infiltrate a cognitive space belonging to Mishima's Shadow. What they don't know, however, is what's in store for them within that mindscape.
Though it may not quite qualify as a Palace, it will still be a reflection of the subconscious of the admin of the Phan-Site. Just how does Mishima view his situation in the world? And more importantly, will he be able to accept his other self?

A few beats of silence passed yet the stranger remained still, as if waiting for a signal. Apparently having found what he was looking for they approached slowly only to sit at the foot of the bed, not once breaking eye contact but showing no clear indication of aggression either. This is the Japan side of Act 16, following Akira Kurusu's perspective. At the end of our last Act, the Phantom Thieves were stuck within the dangerous Midnight Channel and looking for a way to escape. However, they found themselves face to face with the inner Shadows of multiple members of their group. They'll have to face themselves if they want to get out alive!
Even escaping from the Midnight Channel still won't solve all of their problems, however, as it will soon become clear that they have unfinished business within the world of the TV. They may have saved Hebi Hibiki and stopped the yakuza from killing him, but now the Phantom Thieves have much more personal reasons to need to go back in... complete with a few additional allies to help them.

This is the Japan side of Act 15, following Akira Kurusu's perspective. Where we last left off, the gang was given a tip that pointed them in the direction of the nearby city of Inaba. Supposedly, the museum curator Hebi Hibiki was spotted in the area. As he is currently in the process of being kidnapped by the yakuza, this lead could prove invaluable in rescuing him.
However, they'll need all the help they can get, and that help is going to take the form of detective Ryotaro Dojima with the Inaba PD. Not only does he have a potential lead that could help them to save Hibiki, but he could stand to close the book on an unsolved murder case that has been bothering him for five years by now. With a lot on the line, our heroes will team up with this new ally to try and save Hibiki before it's too late.

Mishima needed to change his heart. He was too caught up in the power of the Phantom Thieves, and sending hate and threats to people who might actually need help was concerning enough for Akira Ren and the rest of the Thieves to go to Mementos and try to change the Admin's heart. With a single, tense conversation, Akira Ren left the shadow to it's own devices.
Mishima woke up the next morning feeling sick. He wasn't changed, but he knew he had to. So, he did the only thing he could think of.
