Keith's next door neighbor has picked up the habit of BLASTING rock music at ungodly hours. If he had his way he'd barge into his apartment and destroy his subwoofers with a baseball bat. Shiro always tells him to try being more subtle... maybe something less confrontational will work better?
____________Pidge Cackles, clutching her stomach as she rolls onto her back, overcome with giggles.
"What! What?! What'd I say?!" He marches across the living room, looming over her. She simply points toward her computer screen where the settings window was still pulled up. He raises a brow, crouching down next to her to read through the page. His eyes land on the 'Available Wifi Networks' panel, and-
'Apt203ULoudAsFuck' [Connect?]
"WHAT!?"
She wheezes, pointing between the screen, and Lance's dumbfounded face.
"Oh, no, no way, two can play at this game!" He screeches, snatching the laptop from her, the charger unclipping as he began to pace, fingers flying over the keyboard. "There! Take that!"
Pidge grabs the computer back from him, suppressing the remnants of her giggles to read what he'd done. At the top of the page, their own Wifi Network was now titled:

Title is from 'the kids from yesterday' by My Chemical Romance.This is at its core a band fic, however im going to focus more on the relationships than the bands.
Im really bad at summaries and im currently editing my notes for where this will go so im not sure what to say is gonna happen yet (I also have not decided on an end game ship yet). But it's mostly following Keith as he deals with life and shitty relationships, while his mental health declines (im basing a lot of what he thinks and goes through on my own experiences but of course everyone has different experiences so please don't be offended by anything)

“Hah— nonsense, I’m— the one getting in first,” Keith got out. He instinctually handed the boy his water bottle after taking a swig himself.
Gulping down half of the water the boy narrowed his eyes at him, “Oh no— you should’ve put that mullet out of your eyes— I’m the one crossing the line first.”
“That doesn’t count! I entered the train first. I win. Period,” There was no way Keith would accept defeat.
After staring at the ceiling for a moment—not long enough to have actually thought of something—he flicked his fingers and looked at Keith with a flare in his eyes that was bordering from playful to challenging. Mischief, he thought would be a better word, “OK, let’s set the middle line here. The one who gets down first, loses.”
Keith smirked, ignoring the slight skip of his heart with those eyes on him, “Oh you’re on.”

Keith can’t say no to Lance regularly. It’s honestly a problem. (Not that they don’t still argue – they definitely do – but once Lance became aware of the power he held over Keith, he didn’t hesitate to abuse it. He knows all he has to do is smile wide and tilt his head and make it sound like it’s not that big of a deal and boom. Keith folds. Every time.)
But this time, Lance doesn’t stop at a pleading grin and a bit of begging. Oh, no. He opens his already big brown eyes as wide as they’ll go, eyebrows pinched and sad, pupils dilated – how the hell he does that on command Keith will never know – and blinks slowly.
“Please, Keith? One song?”
“Goddamn it – fine, Lance, Jesus. Put those damn things away. Christ.”

1.7 billion GAC was all that stood between the rebellion and certain doom. Raise 3 billion GAC and the Tri-Galactic Alliance, made up of three most powerful solar systems in the local galactic cluster, would join the Voltron Coalition with their full support. Once they joined, all the neighboring systems would surely follow suit.
But so far, after a full day of performances, they had only managed to raise 1.3, less than half of what they needed.
Lance has an idea for how to solve that problem.

In that the Voltron Coalition needs that sweet sweet cash and holds a fundraiser in the form of a day of live performances.
With only Lance's performace remaining, he comes up with a last minute idea.
Sing a song he wrote for a certain former paladin, hope it does the trick for the rest of the funding and hope that no one asks too many questions.
But Keith has many questions.

The audience goes fucking apeshit. Not only is the idea of Lance singing and playing for them admittedly pretty exciting, but the idea that Lance – Loverboy Lance – had his heart broken? By whom? Who is the mysterious person who didn’t want Lance?
It’s an ingenious marketing strategy, Pidge will give him that. She wonders if it’s true, if he really did write a song about heartbreak.
